Navy Secretary Ray Mabus upgraded nine Navy Crosses and eight Silver Stars, the second- and third-highest awards for valor that the service awards its troops. The names of most of the SEALs were not released to protect them and their families, and because many of them remain on active duty…. FULL REPORT

The entire team of the SEAL Family Foundation is pleased to be exhibiting at the 2017 SHOT Show for the first time. This show provides us a very unique opportunity to showcase to the many vendors and guests who we are and what we do for the U.S. Navy SEAL Families. We are honored to be afforded the opportunity to highlight our mission of building family resiliency in Naval Special Warfare at this great venue.
The 2017 SHOT Show is a week away and we are honored to be one of the 1,600+ exhibitors at the show. The show runs from Jan 17-20th. Our booth is #2519. Please stop by to say hello.
We’re proud to attend this show and stand beside our partners and supporters who assist us with all things shooting, hunting and the outdoors.
This years mark up has the products, suppliers, the connections, the know-how — the stuff you need for a successful year. It’s the most comprehensive showcase of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and related products and services for professionals in the shooting, sports, hunting, and law enforcement industries.
We are excited to showcase our Foundation with this industry and to be a part of it all. We hope to see you there!
This weekend, the SEAL Family Foundation participated in the annual Wreaths Across America event at Arlington National Cemetery. We hosted 21 Gold Star Families over the weekend to come together during the holidays, remember and honor those who they’ve lost. This weekend allows this special group time to enjoy each other’s company and strengthen the bonds they cherish.
Despite the low temperatures and freezing rain, our group participated in the laying wreaths on the graves of the fallen SEALs. Over 245,000 wreaths were laid this year. We are very appreciative of the hard work Wreaths Across America and our friends at Team Bear do throughout the year to make this event possible.

Unfortunately, despite their capabilities, all of the training in the world won’t help them get a job one bit if these amazing heroes can’t get their foot in the door. [Full Article Here]
