Gene Simmons of Kiss to Perform The National Anthem; Sharon Stone to Serve as Auctioneer; Special Musical Performance by American Idol Finalist Elliot Yamin
Los Angeles, CA (May 13th, 2015) – The Seal-NSW Family Foundation announced today it is hosting its Second Annual Dinner Gala this Saturday, May 16th, 2015 aboard the Battleship USS Iowa in San Pedro Harbor. This unique and memorable event will thank the Naval Special Warfare community and their families for their military service and to honor their fallen heroes.
The evening event will kick off with a cocktail reception, opportunity to review silent auction items and take a guided tour of the Battleship USS Iowa. The evening will then continue with a skydiving team jump, 5” and 16″ gun salute, an LA Fire Department fireboat demonstration, and flyover by Condor Squadron before dinner.
Dinner highlights will include the National Anthem performed by Gene Simmons of the band KISS, keynote speaker and former Director of the NSA & CIA & Air Force 4-Star General, Michael Hayden, guest honorary speaker Sarah Palin and performance by recording artist & American Idol finalist, Elliot Yamin.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and funds in support of the U.S. Navy SEAL family and will include rare military, sports, and entertainment silent and live auction items to benefit this Family Foundation.
