On October 10 and 11, the SEAL-NSW Family Foundation, in conjunction with the Naval Special Warfare Warrior and Family Support Services team, hosted its 6th Annual Family Harvest Hoedown at the Indian Hills Campground in Jamul, CA.
With a mission of building resilient families in the Naval Special Warfare community, this event brought over 125 families (500 plus family members) together to enjoy the outdoors at this special location.
This two-day and overnight event provided many fun and enjoyable activities and events for the families to participate in.
From the BMX Bike Track, Pool & Water Slide, Archery, Zipline, Hiking, Giant Playground, Campfire Sing-a-longs, Animal Farmyard everyone of all ages participated. For the more creative individuals there was a Pumpkin Decorating Contest, Halloween Guessing Contest, and the children went Trick or Treating.
The SEAL-NSW Family Foundation prides itself on the quality programs and services it provides the Naval Special Warfare families, each designed to enhance the growth and development of resiliency in each home.
This event was a total success at every turn and we look forward to our continued relationship with this special community and its families.
