Dear SEAL Family Foundation Friends,
With summer upon us during this challenging time of Pandemic management, make it a point to continue to be prudent in your engagements, take time to embrace each other and prepare to reintegrate back to a more social environment based on your community’s guidance. We are all in this together.
The Navy SEAL community is a resilient one and we are reminded of this every day. We are in touch with spouses, families and operators and despite the day-to-day changes we all face, they are keeping true to form; positive, energized, adaptable and helpful. Supporting this community is easy when you see the daily resiliency in everyone. It is motivational.
So what are we doing? We are continuing to support the Force and Families. We continue to support our Kids programs. We are assisting with Emergency support as needed and we are engaging with the Naval Special Warfare Command to stay close to their needs. We are staging ourselves for an open environment where we can turn on all our programs again.
With our virtual presence, you can expect to see a few Town Hall Meeting opportunities where significant leaders in our country will share their perspectives on today’s environment. You will see, in absence of our Gala Dinners, virtual silent auction opportunities where you can get some neat things with 100 % of the proceeds supporting our mission. And you will see more partnerships and alliances with like-minded nonprofit organizations where we will work together to ensure we are serving the community correctly.
It’s times like this that bring communities together. I’m proud of all we do for this special community, but more proud of how we do it. I stand by our ‘doing the right things the right way’ approach. So, like the many families we support; stay positive, energized, adaptable and helpful. We will continue to ‘press on’ and execute our mission and prepare for the days when our engagements can be person-to-person once again.
Stay safe. Stay healthy.
