SEAL Family Foundation Around the World Paddle
Supporting Navy SEALs & Families
The Around the World Paddle Classic is a paddle race that simulates the renowned paddle around Coronado that all SEAL Candidates complete during Hell Week with their boat crew. The event will be open to different boat categories, including kayakers, stand-up paddle boarders, canoeists, and teams of 7 in the premier category using inflatable boats. The event focuses on the active lifestyle of the community and serves to raise funds and awareness for special programs in direct support of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) families on a local, national, and global scale.
- K1 Kayak- a single-person kayak specifically designed for racing
- OC1 – A single-person Outrigger Canoe
- C1 Canoe – A single-person Canoe specifically designed for racing
- V1 -A single-person, Open Cockpit Outrigger Canoe with No Rudder
- Prone Paddle Boards -A paddle board where you lay down or are on your knees and use hand and arms to paddle
- SUP- Stand up Paddle boards- athletes stand on board and use a paddle to propel themselves through the water
- Tandem Divisions for: Surfski, Kayak, Outriggers (OC2), and Stand-up Paddle Boards (SUP2)

9:00 AM Around the Bay Short Course Start -Kayaks, surf-skis, OCs, SUPs, etc. –
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Lunch, Post Race Party & Village Expo
12:30 PM Awards Presentation
2:00 PM Event concludes
